About Don

Meet Don Anthony

A proud resident of Tiny Township, dedicated to bringing transparency, common sense, and resident-first leadership to the council table.

Don Anthony

I have been a permanent resident of Tiny for over 23 years. My children attended Wyevale public school and later St Theressa's in Midland. I have been married to my wife, Michelle, for 31 years. Her family heritage dates to the mid 1800s when her mother's family settled in Lafontaine. We have deep ties to this community.

I hold a BA in Economics and a diploma in Turf Management. I ran a successful landscape and property management business in North Simcoe for 20 years. I have been involved in the Golf business for the majority of my adult life. I have been a Golf Course Superintendent at several courses. I specialize in helping transform businesses that are underperforming through finding efficiencies and focusing on core practices. I have had great success and enjoyed the challenge.

Currently, I sit on the Parks and Rec committee. Previously, I coached basketball for over a decade and sat on the board of directors for the PMBA for several years. I have always been community minded. That leads me to where I am today. I have the necessary time to dedicate myself to public service, the knowledge and experience to execute sound judgment. This is a critical time for Tiny. It is a time for honest people to step up and lead the way. I look forward to winning your support through continued communication and hearing all perspectives on the issues we collectively face.
